Hailing from Detroit's door step and the motor city of Canada comes Disco Assault.  Windsor, Ontario based they play some no-frills classic sounding hardcore punk from the Reagan days. 

 

Influences are far and wide from the Midwest (Negative approach, The Necros, the Fix, The Meatmen) to the East (Gang Green, Jerry's Kids, Minor Threat, The F.U.'s, Urban Waste) to the West (Black Flag, Wasted Youth, Poison Idea, 7 Seconds) to Canada (Dayglo Abortions, D.O.A., Dry Heaves, Forgotten Rebels, The Ugly) to overseas (Cockney Rejects, The Partisans) and lots in between.

Since forming in 2005 they've played shows in Ontario, Quebec, Michigan & the Midwestern states.  To date there have been a few demos, 7 inch EP on Schizophrenic Records, a discography CD, a self released extremely limited 7 inch plus more to follow.
